Love in terms of botany.

Love in terms of botany Place: Herbaria of Royal botanical garden Date : spring wood/autumn wood/annual ring Dear cypsela;                         Hi! Yours lablab is writing this letter to you at the midnight when all the scotoactive CAM plants are busy in photosynthesizing their food. Love is puzzle and you are my first love. Being in love these days, I am puzzling like a monkey that swings up and down in the tree of Araucaria imbricata . Darn, when I first saw you, your immense beauty had numbed me. But the moment I tried to talk to you, I became far more fragile than Mimosa pudica and got collapsed simply seeing you, not even being touched. Being in love is sweeter than the fructose in sugarcane but to me you are as sweet as sachharin. Honey! You are the secondary xylem remaining in the core of my heart, do believe me, I won’t be leaving you like the water droplets that ooze out from the hydathodes during the guttation but i’ll be with you forever like the prop ro

my view on highway..

After a long time I went to the cinema hall to watch a Nepali flick. The much awaited and hyped Nepali flick as it was said went through the hall to public on Friday. There was much anticipation and expectation, curious feeling, and hope as it was taken in social media; after all it was selected in the Berlin festival. So it was not wrong of me to expect more of it. Is it? It’s none of our business to make a point about its success. Its success is our industry success in all. And the comparisons are the part of the Nepali society. Everybody appreciated the way the loot made a history in Nepali film industry. And it also may not worth to compare these two films as the subject matter they carry is entirely different. After all loot was a success. We should accept it. You may be wondering what I am talking about. Yes it’s about the highway. It’s a flick with a different presentation. The stories taken are time relevant and pragmatic, but everybody is talking about its ending which make

youths

The new generation has always been blamed for aping the westerners, a fact, which is not totally unfounded. At the market place, restaurants, clubs and similar hot spots, it is easy to find the quintessential youngsters with pants that might fall off any moment or with ooh-so-tight clothes that leave very little room for breaking wind. And seeing these youngsters dancing away to the tunes of Eminem and his ilk in the most happening nightclubs can leave any one flummoxed that Nepali youth is a Xerox of the west. But whoever had such impression could have never been so wrong. It is but their stupidity to judge a book by its cover. Yes we do dance to the hip-hop beats. We all jump and raise our voices for we know we are Nepali regardless of what we wear. Being fashion conscious does matter, maybe we are just being one I don’t want being called out out-dated. It is also not uncommon to spot youngsters donning the national dress on many an occasion. I belong to this generation and I

A memory

Dedicated to my deceased brother………. If life goes on as we think, it’s not life. I have made changes in perspective of life’s values and norms. It is said life is beautiful. But it may turn nasty in various ways and shows its monster form unknowingly. So we learn by living our life, whatever comes on its way. We have no choices left than to surrender ourselves to that situation. A devastating and out of the blue incident occurred in our family life. It was an usual day, usual time but the circumstances had been changed. A time with its disastrous form revealed us the unexpected event. Sensational, Heart breaking, Unbelievable it was. These are the mere words and words count no worth compared to feelings. Words are just the structured form seen through our naked eyes which lack their real identity and hidden truth. It was a usual day with unusual circumstances. April 15, Sunday. Early in the morning I woke up and was just sitting by the bed pondering the day’s plans. I was calm, co
